Project Close Out
Project closeout is the formal completion of all contracts related to the project. Closeout takes place after all obligations have been fulfilled and the required documents executed.
Specific requirements of the Owner and the complexity of the Project dictate the degree of effort required during closeout activities. Typically the following closeout services will be required:
- Verification that all Contract packages have been completely accepted by the Owner in all respects.
- Documentation that all applicable manufacturer and equipment warranties have been transferred to the Owner.
- Verification that all Contractors have submitted affidavits verifying that no claims are pending.
- Verification that all Contractors have been paid.
- Submittal of Contractor Evaluations as required.
